Client work keeps the lab honest. It runs against production systems and other people’s deadlines. The lab keeps the client work current: better tooling, and a much shorter path from an idea to something running. Neither one sits at the centre.

03 / The Lab
The half that doesn’t have to justify itself.
The lab is an open-ended experimentation track on agentic computing. Some of it is infrastructure, some is closer to research, and some only exists because I wanted to find out whether it would work.
There’s no roadmap, deliberately. A roadmap would turn this into a product line, and the point is to follow the interesting result wherever it goes.
Work shows up here once it’s stable enough to be worth showing.
